Parent Teacher Conferences

Last week was a short week so I didn't end up submitting a new Blog post for you.   I wanted to give you a couple of reminders at this point.

1. Community Dinner and Math Game Night will be Thursday, October 26th beginning at 5:30 pm.  All families are welcomed to attend and each child will go home with a bag of math games to play at home!
2. We have E.C.O. on Friday from 11:30 - 2:30.  Please have students dress appropriately.  It will be cool and likely damp.  Students have learned about how to be safe around a campfire and we will have our first campfire of the year.   Students will begin to learn about animal habitats during our lesson.
3. Parent Teacher Conferences will be on Friday, November 10th.   The office is ready to make your appointment!   Please call the office at 888-3101 to schedule a 30 minute conference. This will be an opportunity for us to discuss how your child is doing in school (both academically, behaviorally, and socially).  If you have specific questions or concerns you wish to discuss with me, please let me know ahead of time, so I prepared to address the issues.   During our conference, I will also be sharing with you what you can expect from our new reporting (grades) system.  Your Kindergartener is welcome to join us.
