I just want to take this opportunity to thank parents and children for attending Parent Teacher Conferences! It was such a nice time having conversations about the children and sharing with you their progress! I hear many positive comments over the course of the day which were really heartwarming. Thanks you for sharing your time with me.
Just a quick reminder that there is the first community dinner of the year on Thursday evening sponsored by CLiF. You have not yet signed a return a reading contract, please try to do this my Monday. They will only host the event if we 80% school wide participation on the reading contracts. Hopefully many of you will be able to attend the dinner / family fun night.
Friday we will be out at our ECO sight from 9-12. We are planning on having our first fire and still need a few pieces of firewood. Let me know if you can donate or plan to volunteer. It is only projected to be in the 40's on Friday, so please send your child with warm layers. They may want warm and should have boots, hats and mittens. Our focus lesson is "Becoming Foxes".
Friday night, 5:00 is the PUPS Costume Bike Ride, bring your bike and your Halloween costume. PUPS will have pizza and snacks, cool materials to decorate your bike, and we'll all ride around the track in our costumes.
